Back to work:(

As many of you know, or have figured out, we are both teachers.  We had the last week off, and today was our first day back to work.  Hoo-ray!  Some days, you really just wish you had a few more days off.  Some days, you are excited to get back.  Sometimes you just wonder why you woke up in the first place.  Even though work wasn't bad, the journey there made it fall into the later category.
First off when I wake up it is my sportscouple duty to walk to the dogs.  This morning they were filming some sure to be putrid piece of crap called Bestfriends Forever in the neighborhood.  Upon further research it is produced by the guy who made Old School which makes me feel as if it will be fun, but is unforgivably responsible for the Hangover 2, so I will stand by my original statement. Back to the point:  this filmings are usually all well and good, because they don't start early.  This morning was different.  Men were working with a purpose.  They were loud.  They were moving stupid cart things, that cause Flash dog to have a flipping episode.  He barked and went crazy.  It was not fun to deal with.  What a way to start the morning after waking up at 5:37 for the first time in 9 days.
I recovered, after being able to power down 2 cups of coffee, and running a little bit late due to Flash's episode, I bolted to the subway.  Upon running down the stairs I just missed the untrusty "R" train, and thought to myself crap.  I usually have to stand on the platform for about 10 minutes, and since it isn't too cold, yet not warm, I have to wear too heavy a coat and wind up sweating to the point that I look like Patrick Ewing in a playoff series.  Again, not a good way to start the work week.  As I was mentally preparing myself for a sweat shop morning, my luck finally changed.  An "N" express train came bolting down the track.  Finally, I would be able to change my fortunes.  I got onto the subway, and took a whiff of the air.  Yikes.  Homeless man stench.  And the train started to move before I could change cars.  Awesome start to the morning.  Man, I really needed another day of vacation.
