Slow Golf in Brooklyn

Today we played golf at Marine Park golf club in Brooklyn. As expected, it was ridiculously slow.

The course is great, we both love it - but it is not worth the insane expenses and the slow play. Our tee time was 11:37. We finished our round at 5:30.

Oh the bright side - I (Sarah) broke 100. 47 on the front. 49 on the back. I should have done better - but I have yet to knock off the rust. Sandy and I need to become friends again (sand wedge). Big Bertha and I are getting along swimmingly (the driver). I scared the driver into submission by mentioning the possibility of a new purchase. Motivation for graphite.

Also on the bright side - my new shoes are awesome. I made sure to do random hops and stretches in order to make myself feel active.

Just so you all know - it costs roughly $140ish for two people to play a round of golf with a cart in Brooklyn. Oh, and this was a deal.

Slow golfers make me want to climb a tree and launch water balloons in the general direction of the offenders. But then again, Mike will just hit into them.

Marine Park Course: 3 stars for design and general course
Fees/deals/pace of pay: 1 star

Drive two hours for a better deal. In the end, you will sit on the BQE for an hour anyway.
