Out of all of the basketball camps I went to as a girl, the Tennessee camp was by far the most demanding. Pat Summitt had us up and out of our slumber caves early in the morning and kept us out late at night. During that time we did non-stop drills or games.
I did not really appreciate the camp at the time. I was a teenager. But in retrospect, it was a great experience.
Random memory: As a kid, I frequently had a bloody nose. The change in temperature, a flick to the face, or even sniffing made me bleed. With that being said, I had a bloody nose at the camp. Instead of pawning me off on a trainer, Pat Summitt loaded me up in her golf cart and took me to a biological repair facility. She was very nice. And I love riding in golf carts. All in all, it was a fun experience - blood aside.
